John Kane
Executive Director of Advancement
John Kane joined the Hamilton Center in October 2023. He is a fundraising professional with more than a decade’s experience working in higher education development. Prior to joining the Center, John was Senior Director of Advancement at St. John’s College for eight years and played a lead role in the successful completion of a $325M capital campaign. He is a passionate advocate for the study of the Great Books, the history of Western civilization, and the intellectual underpinnings of the American founding. John received his master’s degree from St. John’s College in Annapolis where he studied the history of science, math, and philosophy, and his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland, College Park.
