Join us for a thought-provoking lecture by leading philosopher of religion John Cottingham on “Philosophy of Religion in an Age of Growing Non-religion,” which will touch on themes from his recent book The Humane Perspective: Philosophical Reflections on Human Nature, the Search for Meaning, and the Role of Religion (Oxford, 2024). The lecture will be followed by a short response from Hamilton Center visiting scholar Fiona Ellis and Q&A.
